Riverwalk Cantina Mild Salsa

With the consistency of ketchup and few recognizable ingredients, Riverwalk Cantina Mild salsa is not for salsa connoisseurs. It claims to have jalapeños and onions, but neither comes through in the taste.

Salted tomato sauce is the primary flavor. If I was the city of San Antonio, I would ask to have my name removed from the label.

1 star.

  1. If you think the mild is bad, try the medium for a new low in salsa experience. But I was too dumb to realize Oak Grove, Illinois is Chicago. Can I have "Chi-ca-go" to the old Pace's tempo on "new yawk ciddy" ???

  2. The riverwalk cantina salsa is so bad it makes you want to know more about it. When looking for the actual restaurant it is inspired by I get dead ends. Thank you Riverwalk, I've lost tons of time on this endeavor.

  3. It's been discontinued at Wal-Mart and the only kind my grandson will EAT? Amazon is selling for $30 For 3bottles? $1.58? Ive called every Wal-Mart Sam's club all over the state of Texas. I even went to better homes and gardens sold out eBay sold out. Review's restock!!!! I believe the ketchup taste is why he likes it so much. Had we known would have bought a case! I myself do the tistos restaurant styles. Ughing!!!!! 🤔😓

  4. Seriously, this is great salsa. People bashing it but it was not anything lime ketsup. I add finely chopped onion, cilantro stems and fresh lime juice. Great stuff at a great price now it is gone....

  5. The same company that makes RCS (Pace), makes a chunky salsa that is a joke. I know of chefs, not cooks, that used RCS rather than making their own from scratch. Now that's an endorsement that's an endorsement !! How about Pace's parent company, Campbell Soup Company, offering us a bona fide alternative ???
